Rebecca is a very experienced Art Educator with a BA (Hons) Fine Art and PGCE in Art Education. She has been an Art Teacher for over 20 years. She is excited to be able to offer group and individual creative support at Foundations.
Rebecca is a very experienced Art Educator with a BA (Hons) Fine Art and PGCE in Art Education. She has been an Art Teacher for over 20 years. She is excited to be able to offer group and individual creative support at Foundations.
Rebecca has worked in many educational settings and has collaborated with The Royal Academy of Arts developing and running CPD workshops for Primary Teachers, promoting creativity.
Rebecca has written a number of Art Education books published by Belair and Harper Collins promoting the importance of creativity in child development. Rebecca has qualifications as an Advanced Drawing and Talking Practitioner and has years of experience in supporting the well-being of individuals through creativity.
As a mother of two teenagers Rebecca is fully aware of the positive effect that creative activity can have on a child’s development. She uses a gentle and encouraging approach to support and nurture children and adolescents who may need help dealing with anxieties, to build confidence and encourage focus and shared experience.
