Developmental Co-ordination Disorder (Dyspraxia) Assessment: £750

This comprehensive assessment is designed for children of all ages, from pre-schoolers upwards, and is conducted by an Occupational Therapist (OT) and a Paediatrician in a 1:1 quiet environment. Before the appointment, parents are required to complete background forms, questionnaires, and provide any relevant medical or therapy reports. If appropriate, information from the child’s school or nursery will also be gathered.

During the appointment, the child will undergo standardized assessments to evaluate their specific difficulties. The OT will engage with the child through informal discussions and play to further understand their needs. Following the assessment, all the information will be compiled into a detailed report, highlighting the child’s strengths, challenges, and offering therapeutic recommendations. The report will include strategies for managing dyspraxia and suggestions for further action.

Sensory Profile & Strategies: £400

This service provides a deep exploration of your child’s sensory processing abilities and how these differences affect daily functioning. It is suitable for children of all ages, from pre-schoolers upwards.

1. Initial Assessment: The OT assesses your child’s sensory processing challenges.

2. Demonstration Session: Parents are taught practical strategies and skills to help manage sensory differences in everyday life.

This package is designed to equip parents with practical tools and provide ongoing support.

Occupational Therapist Consultation Appointments: £75

These one-hour consultation appointments provide parents with the opportunity to discuss specific concerns with an Occupational Therapist (OT). During the session, parents can address issues such as motor skill development, sensory processing challenges, or other developmental concerns. The OT will offer practical advice, tailored strategies, and support based on the child’s individual needs. This session also allows for guidance on potential next steps, referrals, or resources that may be beneficial. It’s a focused, accessible option for parents seeking expert input without the need for a full assessment.
