
Liz has recently completed a two-year Diploma in Child Counselling at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education and is currently studying a third year to become a Child Psychotherapeutic Counsellor.

Liz has spent the last 30 years as a music teacher but has always had a passion for counselling and working with children therapeutically. She has been Wellbeing lead at her school for the past 5 years and has worked with children from 5 to 13 as part of this role in both a pastoral capacity and as a trainee counsellor.
Liz has been trained to use the arts in helping children therapeutically to process complex feelings, thoughts and emotions.
Liz is married and has two daughters, the eldest of who was recently diagnosed as being autistic when she was 16. She home educates her younger daughter who is also neurodiverse.
Liz has a passion for this work and is really looking forward to supporting children and young people at Foundations.
