Liz is a registered nurse and an ADHD coach. She has over 30 years’ experience in health and social care as both a clinician and senior leader in primary and secondary care, and latterly in adult and children’s social care and education settings, working in organisations providing a diverse range of support services for children, young people and adults under the neurodiversity umbrella, with or without co-existing learning disabilities, mental health conditions and/or physical disabilities.
Having gained significant benefit personally from neurodiversity coaching, Liz made the decision to re-train as coach, specialising in ADHD and other neurodivergent conditions, and has undertaken the professional certificate in ADHD coaching. She is an associate member of the Universal Coaching Alliance and is working towards full professional membership and is delighted to have the opportunity through Foundations to be supported in this journey whilst supporting others.
Liz brings the skills and knowledge gained from both academic training, her career and lived experience to her coaching practice where she aims to support clients to identify their goals and empower them with a range of tools to enable them to unlock their potential and thrive. She is passionate about supporting individuals and their families understand and work with, not against, their unique brains. She is well aware of the challenges that ADHD can bring, particularly the combination of relief, joy and grief that may come with diagnosis, particularly a delayed one.
