Kathleen Hicks

Kathleen is an Occupational Therapist with almost 20 years experience. She qualified from Canterbury Christ Church University College with a BSc Honors degree. Her experience includes working in Paediatrics and mental health and has attended training courses in sensory, autism, coaching and motor skills. She is qualified to carry out the ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) as part of a multi-disciplinary neurodevelopmental diagnostic team. She is also experienced in completing assessments to support a diagnosis for Developmental Co-ordination disorder as well as providing strategies for sensory processing and handwriting. She has experience of working for the NHS and in private practice. Kathleen is passionate about supporting young people through their diagnostic journey in a neuro-affirmative way identifying strengths and supporting differences.

Kathleen is registered with HCPC and is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
