Dr Rebekah is a Senior Forensic Psychologist registered with the Heath and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Dr Rebekah is a warm, trauma-informed clinician with a developing specialist interest in the assessment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in both children and adults.
Most recently, Dr Rebekah has held a Clinical Lead role within Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, overseeing community-based forensic psychological assessment and therapeutic provision for adults living across Greenwich, Bexley and Bromley. Prior to this, Dr Rebekah held a Clinical Lead role within Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, overseeing psychological provision covering three Kent prisons. Dr Rebekah has prior experience of working with a diverse population clients across different clinical settings, many of whom were neurodivergent, including within Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust, Elysium Healthcare and charity settings (The Lucy Faithfull Foundation).
Therapeutically, Dr Rebekah has received specialist training in evidence-based psychological interventions, including Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Relational Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Mentalization Based Therapy. Her treatment approach is integrative, drawing on Compassion-Focussed Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Dr Rebekah has a specialist interest in the use of animals within the therapeutic process in the form of Animal Assisted Therapy.
Dr Rebekah aims to provide a safe assessment experience and to provide timely follow-up support following the completion of the assessment and recommendations report, ensuring that a bespoke and personal service is provided for each family.
