Dr Diana Goldsmith (HCPC Registration Number: PYL35330)
Dr Diana Goldsmith specialises in working with children, young people, and their families. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Toronto, Canada, followed by a Master’s degree at East London University and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Canterbury Christ Church University.
With over 26 years of experience, Dr Goldsmith has worked extensively with children, young people, and adults in various settings, including the NHS and independent practice. She has a rich background in mental health research, collaborating with prestigious institutions such as King’s College London, East London University, Canterbury Christ Church University, and renowned Canadian organizations, including Sick Kids Hospital, Sunnybrook Hospital, and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
Dr Goldsmith has been actively working with children and young people diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) for the past 10 years. Her experience includes roles within the NHS, as well as with Starjumpz, Oasis, and the Compassionate Mind Foundation. She has also spoken at various conferences, sharing her expertise on Autism and ADHD, and continues to be a prominent advocate for effective therapeutic approaches in these areas.
As a member of the Compassionate Mind Foundation, Dr Goldsmith presented at their 2017 conference, sharing insights on Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). She integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities into her practice, including:
